The model incorporates GRP technology which substantially shortens the required building time. The installation of the retractable undercarriage alone is a real time-saver, as it utilises ready-made GRP supports fitted in the stub wings. The supports in the fuselage for the mechanical system are also based on a GRP sub-structure. The fueltank, itself a GRP moulding, doubles up as a support for the undercarriage.
