Our mechanical system for electric power incorporates all the features for which many pilots have been waiting.
The design of the mechanics makes the system suitable for fuselages with a rotor disc diameter of 1680 to 1820 mm, which are also designed to accept petrol mechanics. In most cases no major modifications need to be carried out to the fuselage and / or mechanics.

  • Designed for fuselages with a rotor disc diameter of 1680 to 1820 mm and a two-blade rotor system
  • Four-point swashplate linkage
  • Select a rotor shaft matching the Ord.No. for petrol mechanics as stated in the catalogue;
    this also applies to the pushrods
  • The pushrods from the swashplate to the rotor head are as stated for petrol mechanics; see also 2004 catalogue, pages 21 to 23
  • The system could conceivably be used as a pod-and-boom helicopter
  • Designed to accept the HB 60-15 motor from HB Elektronik or the Plettenberg HP 370/40/A2 Heli
    recommended speed controllers: Schulze -32.55K or 40.160H
    both available direct from the manufacturer
  • Recommended battery: 10S Li-Po pack (ten Li-Po cells wired in series); the capacity and cell arrangement have to be selected according to the space available inside the fuselage.

When selecting batteries please check that they are capable of supplying a continuous current of at least 65 A and a peak load of at least 80 A.
