As far as possible and feasible, we aim to help you achieve true scale fidelity by producing a wide range of high-quality accessories. Another important aspect of this is to keep the correct direction of main rotor rotation.
For the Dauphin (English: dolphin) with 2-stroke motor the right-hand rotation X-Treme fenestron mechanical system provides the ideal starting point.
The reduction ratio is matched to the requirements of the model, and the 4-bladed rotor head is a standard feature of the mechanics.
All you have to do is select the correct length of main rotor shaft, and the pushrods between the swashplate and the rotor head, to complement the system you have purchased. Please note once again that we strongly recommend a powerful motor for use with this system: the Rossi 11.5 cc motor fulfils this requirement, and also generates low levels of vibration; an important factor if you want the mechanical components to have a long useful life. Incidentally, as a basic rule we do not recommend the use of nitromethane, and "straight" fuel is used in all the demonstration flights included on the CD-ROM supplied with this catalogue. With a few exceptions (i.e. electric power, and where 7.5 or 23 cc motors are used), all the other models are flown powered by a standard 11.5 cc Rossi.
