Petrol goes Electric

Each of the Helicopters which use our petrol mechanics can also be converted to electric helicopters. Using the electric conversion set Ord.No. 830/100  there is a simple way to convert your Benzin Trainer to electric power. Remove the Petrol motor and exhaust and replace it with an electric motor of your choice. The electric conversion set can be used with the most common electric motors. This conversion set can also be used with the Benzin fuselage mechanics. Alternatively to this, in most cases, the electric mechanics 1002/80 with motor carrier Ord.No. 59/40 can be used.
The electric conversion / mechanics are designed for an electric motor with about 520 rpm per volt, for example the Plettenberg HP 370/40/A2. We recommend the use of a 10S Lipo battery. Also recommended for this configuration is the remote control accessories Ord.No. 996. Remote control components, speed controllers, programmers and chargers are also available from Vario Helicopter.
