The new ¼ scale EC 135 is another impressive helicopter with turbine or electric mechanics and 2300mm rotor diameter. The turbine mechanics are designed from scratch using a side mounted JetCat SPT-5H turbine, this keeps the cockpit clear of the mechanics as much as possible. Also, the Fenestron is a completely new design, keeping the full size asymmetric distribution of the 10 blades. This large helicopter has excellent flight performance. Many scale accessories are already in design and will be available when the first kits of the EC135 become available by mid this year.
